• Overview

Alumina (Al2O3) Ceramics is made by refining alumina(Al₂O₃) with high level of technology and only those containing alumina (Al₂O₃) of over 80% are called alumina ceramics.

High purity alumina widely used for fine ceramics generally has the purity of over 99.5% and is microscopic powder with the average particle size less than 1㎛ - alumina powder which is sintered relatively well.

High purity alumina, with its excellent mechanical strength, heat resistance, abrasion resistance, and insulation, has a wide range of application areas including not only various electronic parts, semiconductor processes, space ships, automobile engines, but also human body bio industry like bone implantation. Especially in line with the development of ultramodern industries its demand is increasing.
