Taking note of the ceramic's resistance to chemicals, heat, abrasion, and its low thermal expansivity, etc., COMA Technology Co., Ltd. is now making plungers (pistons) for high pressure plunger pumps, automatic filling machines, medical controlled volume pumps, syringe pumps, etc. changing the material from the existing SUS or cemented carbide to ceramics.
By changing material to alumina(Al2O3), zirconia(ZrO2), silicon carbide(SiC), sapphire, etc., and through optimized machining method for plungers, we are making the products meeting customers' needs in terms of circularity, straightness, surface roughness, etc., and enhancing the work efficiency, product lifetime, and precision.
